Fall 2021 Week 2 Investment
Here are three questions I have from the Week 2 readings.
- For my future students
- What motivates you as a student to learn, especially when it's a weaker subject area?
- For my cooperating teacher
- How does your lesson planning at the beginning of your teaching career compare to your lesson planning now? How did/do you use compassionate understanding, clear purpose and expectations, creative use of resources, and competent follow through?
- For one of my cohort members
- What do you think your biggest obstacle is when it comes to lesson planning?
"Students must be motivated to learn. Learning activities should be provided
that reflect the wants, needs, interests, and aspirations of students."
Hey Nell, these are really interesting questions to think about especially for the first one having that student perspective would be really helpful.
ReplyDeleteAs for your last question, for me it is that I do not know what to expect I have only met some of the students once or twice, and I feel somewhat blind in who I will be teaching in many ways so it can be hard to plan when I do not have a lot to go off of.
